Round 1... the wet one
This was our first ever Downtown Jump, and it was a wet one!
The crazy British weather allowed a glorious Friday to setup, and a similar Sunday to pack away, but torrential rain all day Saturday which I'm sure put many off travelling to the venue.
It did allow us to test how the inside of the Phoenix worked with so many people staying inside to shelter from the weather. However, when the great line-up of bands started playing in the Bandstand marquee, the rain didn't stop you lovely dancers from braving the rain on a quick dash to the marquee, which, unfortunately leaked really badly.
Not even a leaky marquee detracted from the fun and dancing as our photo galleries show.
So much to learn from this first event, which had around 225 attending.
